PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 7:00 P.M. <br />May 3i 1965 at the Village Hall 2401 Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Donald C. Hoages <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Charles D. La Vaque <br />Perry Malvin <br />Ingram Rustad <br />0J0050 <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: E.V. Comstock <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Adm. Clerk: Paul E. Boog <br />Motion by Hodges to appoint Mr. Roy Gale, 8227 Groveland Road <br />as the Mounds View Village Fire Marshall. Seconded by Blanchard. <br />5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Rustad to grant permission to the Village Engineers, <br />Comstock and Davis, to do the work necessary to complete the following: <br />A proposed platting and final plots for Mr. E.J. Koblas, owner. Plotting <br />would be located in the SW of the SE% of Section 7, Township 30, <br />Range @3, lying south of Woodale Drive, and North of the Village Park <br />letween Fairchild and Red Oak Drive. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />.lotion Carried. <br />Motion by Blanchard to raise the pay of Arlene Robinson <br />by fifteen cents ($.15) per hour. Her rate of pay would be one dollar <br />and seventy -five cents per hour. Effective date, end of six months <br />probation, April 12, 1965. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Rustad to hire Mr. Timothy Smith as a part time <br />Village Police Officer as recommended by the Police Commission to be <br />effective May 4, 1965. Rate of pay to be $2.00 per hour. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with the Building Inspectors <br />recommendation to approve the final plans of the Pure Oil Station to <br />be located on Highway 10 and County Road H -2. To direct the Attorney <br />to publish the final rezoning notice. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Engineer was directed to prepare a change order relating <br />to the Sewer Maintenance Building. <br />Motion by La Vaque to direct the Engineer to do a preliminary <br />future street study for the area North of Sherwood Road and West of <br />ong Lake Road to the Village limits. To submit a proposed street <br />ocation plan for this area. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion Carried. <br />
