PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., June 28, 1965 at 2401 <br />Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: Donald C. Hodges <br />Clerk: Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee: Perry Malvin <br />Ingram Rustad <br />Charles Ls Vaque <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Eldon Comstock <br />Adm. Clerk: Paul E. Boog <br />Public Works: Walter Skiba <br />Treasurer: Irene Edberg <br />Motion by Hoages to approve minutes of special meeting of June <br />7, 1965 as presentee. Seconde''.by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of regular meeting of <br />June 14, 1965 as presentees. Seconde-' by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Trustee Rustaes reported that the N.S.S.S.D. law suit against the <br />Minnesota Water Pollution Control Commission was apparently progressing <br />satisfactorily in favor of the N.S.S.S.D. <br />An area resident reported a near drowning of one of his child- <br />ren in a flooded yard near 7555 Pleasant'View Drive and requested the <br />Village to pump water out. The Attorney aesvised that as private property <br />is concernees the Council's best course of action would be to accept <br />petitions for a drainage project for the area. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with Building Inspector's <br />recommendation and authorize the issuance of a building permit for A. <br />Simon at 2010 Highway 10, Minneapolis, Minn. 55432. Building will be <br />warehouse and office space. Attorney esirectees to cause re- zoning to be <br />published. Secondees by Rustad. 5 Ayes, <br />The Council granted informal approval to a sub division request <br />for the Clarence Nordstrom property on Eastwood Road. <br />The Council advised Mr. Charles Larson of the necessity for a <br />petition for street improvement to service this property before building <br />permits could be issued. (Mr. C. Larson, 7880 Groveland Road is the <br />developer of this property) Mr. Larson then state he was formally <br />requesting this improvement an-' would sen-' a letter to the Council to this <br />effect. <br />
