Mr. Sullivan raised questions regarding the letter to Mr. Zane <br />Mann from Mrs. S. Fried. The Mayor referred Mr. Sullivan to the <br />Public Examiner. Any questions written to the Council will be answered <br />at the next regular meeting. <br />Motion by Lang to set a Public Hearing and invite the Public <br />Examiner to explain to the residents, questions asked by Mr. <br />Sullivan. Motion was lost for lack of a second. <br />Mr. John Robertus, 2055 County Road H, questioned the right of <br />way on Silver Lake Road. During construction they cut off his drive- <br />way and removed a pc..tion of his garage. The Clerk's Office was <br />directed to contact Mr. Floyd Snyker, Assistant County Engineer, to <br />find out the set line of road right of way. <br />Mr. Sullivan raised a question regarding insurance premiums <br />payments and why they differ in 1962, 1963 and 1964. Mr. Blanchard <br />explained that this was due to some policies expireing in December <br />and some in April with billing before close of Village fiscal year. <br />Mr. Blanchard read a petition for sewer and water. Motion <br />by Blanchard to order preliminary report for water and sewer on <br />Spring Lake Road from Highway 10 to County Road J. and set public <br />hearing for 9:00 p.m. on March 28, 1966. Seconded by Malvin. <br />5 ayes. <br />Mr. Rustad informed the Council that LeRoy Tomason has resign- <br />ed from the recreation committee. Mr. Johnson, Trustee, was <br />appointed. <br />The Mayor opened the Public Hearing on Rezoning at 9:00 p.m. <br />The Clerk read the legal and attested to the publishing and mailing <br />of notices. Mr. Lang reported that the Planning Commission took no <br />action. A petition against the rezoning was presented to the <br />Council signed by 51 residents. The following residents spoke <br />against the rezoning: <br />A. Voll 5085 Red nak Drive <br />C. C. Fontaine 5167 Red Oak Drive <br />G. W. Gammell 5080 Longview Drive <br />W. Siiter 5079 Red Oak Drive <br />The Public Hearing closed at 9:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Downing withdrew his application after short consultation. <br />Mayor Rustad took a poll from the Council regarding the rezoning. <br />Johnson No, Lang No, Malvin No, Rustad -No, Blanchard No. <br />
