PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m. on March 28, 1966 at <br />the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10. <br />Roll Call: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Fiscal Agent <br />Public Works <br />Deputy Clerk <br />Motion by Johnson <br />meeting held March 14, 1966. <br />Motion by Lang to <br />meeting held March 26, 1966. <br />Ingram C. Blanchard <br />Richard Johnson <br />Gary Lang <br />Perry Malvin <br />Richard Meyers <br />Sheldon Boehm <br />Robert Ehlers <br />Walter Skiba <br />Joanne La Casse <br />to approve the minutes of the regular <br />Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes <br />approve the minutes of the special <br />Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes <br />Mr. Rustad reported for the N.S.S.S.D. that a 60" pipe <br />is being installed to service Shoreview Village and Villages North <br />of Mounds View. This pipe is being installed just north of Hillview <br />Road under Highway 8 in Mounds View. <br />Mr. Robert Ehlers read a letter in answer to Mr. J. L. <br />Sullivan's letter dated March 14, 1966. Original on file). <br />Mrs. Florence Peterson, 2277 Knoll Drive, read a letter <br />concerning Mounds View and asked about the possibility of having <br />signs designating "This is Mounds View This was referred to the <br />Mounds View Lions and J. C.'s to investigate the cost. <br />Mr. Edwin A. Dropps appeared before the Council. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with <br />recommendation and approve new building plan <br />Building Inspector to issue permit for same. <br />the Building Inspector's <br />for Dropps and allow <br />Seconded by Johnson. <br />5 ayes <br />Mr. Johnson reported that the matter of open basements <br />on Lois and Knoll has been referred to the Attorney. <br />Mr. Lang reported that spot repairing is being made on <br />Village streets. <br />
