-3- <br />The Mayor called for objections. <br />Resident Joe Stork questioned whether it would be wise to require the <br />Restaurant and Motel as conditions for approval of the station. <br />Council members commented to the effect that this might be an excessively <br />restrictive policy and would tend to discourage development. <br />The Mayor called for objections three times. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing at 9:06 r. M. <br />The Attorney questioned the Council as to whether they might consider special <br />problems like parking of old vehicles and dumping of old tires and mufflers. <br />Superior 400 stated that since they do not do auto service this would not be <br />a problem and they would not object to such limitations on the zoning. <br />M /S /r (Lang /Malvin) To approve the Special Use permit for Superior 400, but <br />with no old car parking to be permitted. (Map attachment with minutes). <br />A poll of Council members was taken with Johnson, Malvin, Lang, Rusted and <br />Halser all voting aye. <br />Resolution #295 was read by the Attorney and the bond figure of $2000 was <br />inserted. <br />M /S /P (Walser /Lang) To adopt tesolution #295 authorizing the position of <br />Supervisor of Office Operations. <br />A poll of the Council was taken with Lang, Malvin, Rusted, and Walser voting <br />Aye. Councilman Johnson voting No. <br />The Clerk recommended John H. Engle for the position created by Resolution <br />#295. <br />M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) To hire John H. Engle as Supervisor of Office Operations <br />at $550 per month for a three month probationary period to be increased to <br />$650 per month after three months, effective April 11, 1967. 4 Ayes, 1 No <br />M /S /t (Walser /Johnson) To approve Ehlers and Associates, Inc., as Fiscal <br />Agents of the Village for 1967. <br />The Ehlers agreement was read and discussed. Residents questioned the need <br />for bonds. The 100% assessment for Curb and Gutter in Twelve Oaks was ci_ed <br />as one example. The Village must pay the total cost ncw, and the residents <br />will be paying off this amount over a ten year period. 5 Ayes <br />Trustee Malvin read the Police Report. Theft of the microphones from the <br />Village Hall during a teen dance was reported. The tolice have now recovered <br />them. <br />Rubbish complaints and a Horse complaint are receiving tolice attention. <br />Trustee Johnson requested that the office prepare a tax information sheet. <br />
