PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA September 11, 1967 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M., on Monday, September 11, 1967 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Clerk Walser Trustee Malvin Trustee Lang Also Present: Attorney Meyer Engineer Boehm Absent: Trustee Johnson M /S /P (Malvin/Lang) To approve the minutes of August 14, 1967. 4 Ayes A petition signed by 13 ri.sidents near the area of Erickson Road and Adams Street requesting a street light at this corner, was received by the council. M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) Tc order the installation of a street light at the corner of Ericksor Road and Adams Street. 4 Ayes Mayor Rustad reviewed a eport on Lake Side Park. Work completed to date and future plans in the blacktopping of parking area. The clerk announced the `ollowing dates regarding the election of November 7, 1967. Filings open September 26, 1967 and close October 10, 1967. Voter registration closes October 6, 1967 The office will remain open until 9:00 P.M. on October 4, 5, and 6. M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) To approve the Jaycee Beer License for September 24 (Fee Waived) and 4 Ayes M /S /P (Walser /Malvin) To approve bills represented by check numbers 3367 through 3381 and number 1065 and 1793 through 1826. 4 Ayes M /S /P (Walser /Rustad) To approve on the recommendation of Mr. Zylla a merit adjustment to $2.00 /hour effective immediately waiving the 6 month probationary period for Dorothy Sandgren.
