Present: <br />Acting Mayor Malvin <br />Councilman Lang <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Absent: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Clerk Walser <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />July 8, 1968 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Acting Mayor Malvin at 8:03 P.M. on Monday July 8, 1968, at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Clerk- Typist Sandgren <br />M /S /P (Lang /Johnson) To approve the minutes of the June 24th and June 25th,1968 <br />meetings. 3 Ayes <br />Peter Barna, Attorney for Bernard Iblings, inquired as to the hearing to be held <br />at 8:30 for the rezoning of 7373 Knollwood Drive from R1 to R2. Attorney Meyers <br />suggested that the hearing be opened at 8:30 and objections called for then. <br />However, Council action would not be taken until the next meeting or the Agenda <br />meeting when the rest of the Council would be present. <br />M /S /P (Lang /.;ohnson) To approve the following licenses: General Contractors <br />license Miles Construction of St. Paul, Inc.; Excavating licenses Eugene <br />Betts, Lloyds Excavating, Husnik Sewer Service, Beaver Plumbing Company, Stan's <br />Plumbing Inc., Weleski Son Inc. and Heating and Air Conditioning license <br />Franks Heating Sheet Metal Company. 3 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To approve payment of bills as represented by checks <br />2518 2532 (General).Check #2533 voided. 3 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To approve payment of bills as represented by checks <br />1085 and 1086 (Bond). 3 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Lang /Malvin) To approve payment of bills as represented by checks <br />346 365 (Payroll). Check 352 voided. 3 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To set the hearing for Improvement Project 1968 -2 <br />(Parkview Terrace) for July 22, 1968 at 8:30 P.M. 3 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To approve assessment apportionments: Division 38760 <br />Resolution 383, Division 38846 Resolution 384, Division 38898 <br />Resolution 385, Division 38761 Resolution 387, Division 38840 <br />Resolution 386. 3 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Lang /Johnson) To approve Resolution 389 authorizing the Clerk to sign <br />the Approval of Securities and Designation of Depository. 3 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson read the Police report for June.
