Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Lang <br />Dan Vaughn requested <br />from R1 and B3 to R3 <br />hearing. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) <br />Auditors Subdivision <br />N'ly of S'ly 514.63' <br />8:30 P.M. <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />September 9, 1968 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Rustad at 8:02 P.M. on Monday, September 9, 1968, at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Also Present: <br />Deputy Clerk Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Malvin /Lang) To approve the minutes of August 12th, 1968. <br />MSP (Johnson /Lang) To approve the minutes of August 19th, 1968. <br />Residents Requests and Comments: <br />Mr. Robert Shelquist of the Mounds View Jaycees requested the use of the Village <br />Hall for Indian Summer Day, Sunday, September 15th. He also requested a one day <br />beer license and the assistance of the Civil Defense. <br />MSP (Malvin /Johnson) To approve the Jaycees request for use of the Village Hall, <br />one day beer license, and the assistance of the Civil Defense for the Indian Summer <br />Day. 4 Ayes <br />rezoning of parts of lots 58 and 59, Auditors Subdivision #89 <br />for apartment buildings. Planning Commission recommended a <br />To set rezoning hearing for Except the N 150' of lot 59 <br />#89, R1 to R3 and Lot 58 except the W 100' thereof lying <br />Auditors Subdivision 4689, B3 to R3 for September 23rd at <br />Edwin Dropps presented a petition from White Oak Builders for improvements for a <br />22 lot subdivision. Property was formerly the Grande property. <br />MSP (Rustad /Lang) To set improvement hearing for the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the <br />NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 Section 7, Township 30, Range 23 and the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 <br />of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 Section 7, Township 30, Range 23 for October 14th at <br />8:30 P.M. and to order the Engineer to update the existing preliminary plans and <br />specifications for that area. (Project 1968 -4) <br />Robert Waste requested information on building a lean -to for rabbits. He has <br />received a nuisance ordinance violation. He would like to know what was <br />specifically wrong. Told to contact the police and building inspector. <br />Mr. Gene Gideo requested a special use permit <br />land zoned B1 near the intersection of County <br />Planning Commission recommended approval. <br />MSP (Malvin /Johnson) To issue a special use <br />part of the SE 1/4 of Section 6, Township 30, <br />lying SW'ly of the center line of Stat.: Trunk <br />lines, each run SW'ly at right angles to said <br />and 1065.9 feet NW'ly from the Southerly line <br />to build apartment buildings on <br />Road I and Silver Lake Road. The <br />permit to Gene Gideo for Ail that <br />Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />Highway No. 10 and lying between two <br />center line, from points 765.9 feet <br />of said SE 1/4, as measured along <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />
