4 <br />Engineer Boehm's Report: <br />Elsworth Fankhandle Mobile Home Park financing complete. Plans expected to be <br />presented to the Council in early October. Construction to begin late 68. <br />NSSSD contractor wishes to open cut Silver Lake Road. Ramsey County says a <br />resolution was needed approving of the detour by the Village of Mounds View. <br />Open cut to last approximately one week to ten days. Mayor Rustad voiced <br />concern for routing of school buses and he desires the Fire Department and <br />Police Department be notified that the road is closed. <br />MSP (Malvin /Johnson) Approving Resolution #400 authorizing said detour <br />for a period not to exceed two weeks. <br />The Council has decided to meet with the maintenance employees union agent <br />Saturday, October 5th at 9:00 A.M. Second budget meeting to follow. <br />Ron Fagestrom, Fire Chief, explained the need for an increased budget for <br />the coming year. Mounds View presently is paying $9,000 per year. In 1969 <br />possibly $14,000 to $15,000. The Council gave tentative approval. <br />Robert Edmond would like to see driveway access problems at two supper clubs <br />alleviated.
