2 <br />Robert Carlson spoke in favor of improvement for White Oak Builders. <br />Anthony Holschuh, no objection. Keith Harstad,not present. Mayor called for <br />objections none. <br />MSP ,(Rustad /Malvin) To close the hearing at 8:50 P.M. <br />MSP (Malvin /Lang) To order improvement project 1968 -4 and to authorize the <br />engineer to prepare final plans and specifications. <br />Mayor Rustad's Report <br />Fire Chief will start this week checking all commercial property for compliance <br />with incinerator ordinance #156. <br />Resident requested information on firearms ordinance. <br />Resident requested information on secondary buildings. <br />Mayor read letter from Camp Fire Girls requesting use of the Village Hall <br />October 23 at 7:30 P.M. <br />MSP (Rusted /Lang) To approve use of Village Hall for Camp Fire Girls. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) Approving the installation of a street light on Terrace Drive <br />between Quincy and Jackson. <br />Petition was received. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) Approving County Road 1 detour for Minnesota Highway Department <br />while construction is in progress near 35W. 3 <br />Mayor announced letter from HUD received requesting additional information on <br />1968 -3 Schedule A contract. <br />Deputy Clerk Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Malvin /Lang) To send a bill to supper club(s) that did not make contribution <br />to special election for liquor, 1967. <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the following licenses Excavating License Walt <br />Freeman Excavating; Heating License BurnOmatic Ind. Gas Burner Company; and General <br />Contracting Licenses Lundeen Construcion, Swanson Homes, Random, Inc., and Whaley <br />MSP (Rustad /Lang) To approve use of Village Hall by Mrs. Jaycees for November 23, 1968 <br />to show children movies 11 A.M. 3:30 P.M. <br />3 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Lang) To accept petitions received October 7th in regards to rabbits, junk <br />cars, temporary structures, and overflowing septic tanks. 3 Aye <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To authorize putting Sunday liquor on the November 5th ballot. 3 Ayes <br />A petition was received signed by 179 persons. <br />3 Ay <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the following election judges for the November 5th <br />election. (See list attached.) 3 Ayes <br />Construction Company. 3 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Lang) To approve payment of general checks 2753 2802 and payroll <br />checks 486 505. 3 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Malvin) To approve check 2803 the final payment for Lametti and Sons, <br />Inc. for Project 1965 -3 Schedule A. Check clears lien and includes settlement of <br />lawsuit. 3 Ayes <br />
