MSP (Hodges /Blanchard) To approve the building plans for Country Kitchen <br />Restaurant subject to the vacation of the necessary easements. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Johnson) To approve the purchase of two new typewriters from <br />Hagen Office Supply, one for the police and one for the office, at a retail <br />cost of $337.50 each less trade. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Malvin) To approve the transfer of an on sale and off sale liqucr <br />license and all other existing licenses from Ervin Herbst to Stanley Horowicki <br />and Lawrence Cichy at the Mermaid Supper Club conditional upon sale. 4 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson stated that the Metro Sewer Bill has been signed and passed <br />into law. In addition, Mel Christensen has resigned as Clerk of the NSSSD <br />effective July 1. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />2 <br />MSP (Hodges /Malvin) To hire Gary Korf as full time park maintenance man on a <br />six month probationary period at a gross salary of $500 per month.retroactive <br />to May 15th. <br />G. Korf has been highly recommended by both the park committee and Wally Skiba <br />maintenance superintendent. <br />Councilman Hodges asked about the large influx of billboards on Highway #10. <br />Mounds View has no restrictions at the present time. Clerk's office is directed <br />to obtain various ordinances pertaining to billboards so that the Planning <br />Commission may study as a possible amendment to Ordinance #67. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Report <br />Councilman Blanchard read the Planning Commission minutes of May 20th. <br />Keith Harstad, developer, requested a third rezoning hearing on the land located <br />South of County Road H2 between Red Oak and Long Lake Road after the special study <br />committee presents their report to the Council. Attorney stated that the proposed <br />ordinance revision that he has tonight would prohibit a rehearing unless a petition <br />was signed by 50% of the persons in attendance at the last hearing or unless the <br />petitioner waited six months. Mr. Harstad desired to have another hearing before <br />the ordinance was passed. He stated that his revised plan eliminated the apartment <br />buildings in the area receiving the heaviest opposition at the last hearing. <br />MS 1 (Blanchard /Malvin) To set a rezoning hearing for R Oak Estates for <br />July 14th at 8:30 P.M. Malvin -Aye, Blanchard -Aye, Johnson -Naye, Hodges -Naye <br />It was also decided to hold off the passing of the Ordinance #67 revision until <br />a later date. <br />4 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the preliminary plat for Walter Skiba on <br />Lot 3 and N 1/2 of Lot 4 Block 1 Greenfield Addition. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve the preliminary plat for Ernest Danielson on <br />N 405' of S 2835' of E 528' of W 2112' of NE 1/4 of Section 6 subject to obtaining <br />any necessary easements. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To approve the preliminary plat for Eigenheers 4th <br />Addition on Lot 66 Auditors Subdivision #89 Ex S 95' subject to payment of fees <br />and the signing of any additional assessment agreements. <br />4 Ayes <br />
