Mayor Rustad's Report <br />2 <br />Mayor Rustad read the Planning Commission minutes of July 21st. <br />MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To approve the subdivision of Lot 1 Auditors Subdivision <br />#89 into three lots for Earl Holmberg, 1780 County Road J. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following licenses and to waive the <br />fee for North Minneapolis Recreation Development. Asphalt Northern Asphalt <br />Construction Inc., Diamond T Asphalt, Stone Masonry Concrete; Excavating <br />Jerry's Excavating; Heating Standard Oil, Cronstroms Heating Air Cond., <br />Superior Furnace Co.; Sewer and Water Homers Sewer Service and Solicitor <br />North Minneapolis Recreation Development. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the following bills: General Ck #s 4307 <br />4338, WS- MINN -45 Ck# 030, Bond Ck #498 and Payroll Ck #s 1559 -1586. Total <br />disbursements $18,457.82. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To adopt Resolution #494 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division #41859 for Wayne Depew. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Blanchard) To adopt Resolution #495 apportioning the assessments <br />on Division #41977 for Jirovic Addition. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Malvin's Report <br />Councilman Malvin reported on the fine job Chief Grabowski did in recovering <br />stolen merchandise in the Knollwood area. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges reported that the Mounds View Lions began construction on <br />the Wayside Park shelter on July 21st. <br />Brauer and Associates have submitted the park plan and it is being reviewed by <br />the Recreation Committee. <br />Councilman Blanchard's Report <br />MSP (Blanchard /Rustad) To authorize the installation of a street light at the <br />intersection of Ardan Avenue and Eastwood and 1/4 way South of the intersection <br />of Pleasant View Drive and Woodale Drive. <br />Councilman Neisen's Report <br />Councilman Neisen discussed a drainage problem near 2103 Pinewood Drive. Engineer <br />Boehm is to ask the State to raise the catch basinnnd change the cover to <br />prevent large pieces of debris from plugging it up. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers was authorized to prepare a resolution supporting an amendment <br />to the constitution changing the definition of tax exempt property. <br />5 Ayes <br />
