2 <br />MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To authorize Police Chief Grabowski to act as agent <br />of the Mounds View Police Department for making application for federal <br />and state funds in the area of law enforcement. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an <br />agreement with the City of Blaine to allow certain residents on County Road J <br />West of Spring lake Road to connect to the City of Blaine water and sewer <br />system. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges announced that Recreation meetings will be held the 2nd <br />and 4th Tuesdays at 7:00 P.M. henceforth. <br />Councilman Neisen's Report <br />ASP (Neisen /Rustad) To authorize the attendance of Walter Skiba at the seminar <br />on The Inspector and the Law on March 29 31 at the University of Minnesota <br />and to pay all related expenses. <br />Councilman Neisen also announced that he was appointed secretary- treasurer of <br />the North Suburban Sewer Service Board. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers reminded the Council of the following ordinance amendments to <br />be acted on: dog license and impounding fees, dog leash law, and increase in <br />the square footage requirement for dwellings. All proposed changes were <br />deferred. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To accept the preliminary report and cost estimate for <br />sanitary sewer, water, and street improvement project 1971 -1. 5 Ayes <br />Attorney Meyers stated that he would start a summons and complaint on the Cheis <br />matter in April. <br />MSP (Johnson /Neisen) To adjourn at 8:50 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />R spectfully Submitted, <br />Dennis S. <br />Clerk- Administrator <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />
