The Rego -ar Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to ccder by <br />Acting Mayor Blanchard at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 22, 1971 at the Village <br />Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Acting Mayor Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Absent: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Hodges <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To approve the minutes of March 8, 1971. 3 Ayes <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />March 22,1971 <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Schumacher <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To approve the following licenses: Cement Work <br />A Deutsch, Mas.Contr.; Garbage /Rubbish Hauler Ace Solid Waste Mgmt.Inc., <br />Peterson Bros. Sanitation Inc., All -State Disposal Service, Reamer's Rubbish <br />Removal, Suburban Pick Up Service; Heating Fleming Sheet Metal Co., <br />Nelson Roofing Sheet Metal; General Contractor Chisago Lakes Const. Inc., <br />Custom Builders and Myrum Builders. 3 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To approve the following bills: General Check #'s 4931- <br />4978 and WS- MINN -45 Check #'s 083 and 084. Total disbursements $17,869.02. 3 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Neisen) To set an improvement hearing for Project 1971 -1 to <br />include proposed Knollwood and proposed Sunnyside north of Ardan to County <br />Road "J storm sewer in the area north of Arden from Long Lake Road to the <br />West corporate limits, Daileys Hillview Addition, White Oak Estates Fourth <br />Addition, and the proposed plat in the SE 1/4 of Section 7 abutting Red Oak, <br />Woodcrest, and Long Lake Road, for April 19th at 8:00 P.M. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylia notified the audience that releases of appeal rights <br />have been received in the Mounds View versus Red Oak Estates lawsuit with all <br />plaintiffs having signed. <br />Acting Mayor Blanchard's Report <br />Acting Mayor Blanchard referred to the engineer for study a proposed Metropolitan <br />Council policy statement relating to the extension of sanitary sewer facilities <br />in open land. <br />Councilman Neisen's Report <br />3 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To adopt Resolution #516 entering into a one year contract <br />with the maintenance employees. 3 Ayes <br />
