Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson read the Planning Commission minutes of March 16th. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Nelsen) To approve the subdivision request for Alfred Tildahl <br />to divide Lot 44 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition into the E 110' thereof and <br />except the E 110' subject to entering into an agreement to pay the additional <br />special assessments for the newly created lot. <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To approve the subdivision request for Gerald Foss to <br />divide the S 191' of the N 375' of W 234' of Lot 38 Auditors Subdivision #89 <br />into the N 116' and the S 75' thereof subject to granting an additional 8' <br />of street right -of -way on Spring Lake Road. <br />VIS (Neisen /Blanchard) To set a hearing to consider amending the square footage <br />requirement in Sec. 6.2 of the Building Code for April 12th at 8:30 P.M. <br />MSP (Johnson /Neisen) To amend Councilman Neisen's motion to include in the <br />hearing consideration co requiring a garage with all new single family <br />construction. Johnson Aye, <br />Neisen Aye <br />Blanchard Naye <br />MSP (Neisen /Blanchard) To set a hearing to consider amending the square footage <br />requirement in Sec. 6.2 of the Building Code for April 12th at 8 :30 P.M. 3 Ayes <br />Building Inspector Skiba announced that Frank Wagoner of Component Homes has not <br />contacted him since his appearance at the Council meeting. <br />Attorney Schumacher's Report <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />2 <br />MSP (Neisen /Blanchard) To set a hearing to vacate a portion of a utility <br />easement on the property known as 8267 Red Oak Drive described as follows: <br />N 4 1/2' of the S 12/5' of Lot 4 Block 1 East Oaks Addition for April 12th <br />at 8:25 P.M. <br />Attorney Schumacher announced that the Ramsey County Attorney's Office had called <br />to inform him that a release of the escrow money of the Village of Mounds View in <br />the matter of Cheis Contracting was being released by Ramsey County upon the <br />proper execution of some papers by Mounds View. <br />Robert Glazer asked and received the Council's permission to .:ontact the Ramsey <br />County Park Commission to explore the possibility of developing the Watson <br />property north of new STH into a Ramsey County golf course. <br />3 Ayes <br />3 Ayes <br />3 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson /Blanchard) To set a hearing to vacate a drainage easement described <br />as follows: Except the W 5' and the S 10' of N 15' of Lot 1, Block 1, Eigenheer <br />Fourth Addition for April 12th at 8:20 P.M. 3 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To approve the preliminary plat for White Oak Builders, <br />Keith Harstad, Anthony Holschuh in the SE 1/4 of Section 7 Subject to the <br />acceptance of the waiver of appeal and an opinion as to its legality by the <br />attorney or subject to final approval not granted until after plaintiffs appeal <br />rights have expired or been ruled on the Supreme Court. <br />
