A list of three certified applicants was presented by the Commission: Timothy <br />Ramacher, Frances Ellis and Raymond Vernon. <br />MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To appoint Timothy Ramacher to the Mounds View Police <br />Department as patrolman effective June 1st, 1171. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Johnson read the Planning Commission minutes of May 18th. <br />MSP (Neisen /Blanchard) To approve the preliminary plat of 5 lots for Donald <br />Chapman for 59- 0060 020 -23 subject to the inclusion of Parcel 030 -23 in the plat <br />if possible. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Austad /Hodges) To approve the preliminary plat for DeGardner 2nd Addition <br />for four lots. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To approve the subdivision of Art Worcester for Lot 14 <br />Knollwood Park Addition into the N 250' and Ex thereof. 5 Ayes <br />Mayor Rustad called the hearing to consider moving a building into the Village <br />to order at 8:37 P.M. <br />The rea ang of the legal notice, published May 13th, was dispensed, but the Clerk <br />gave the location and subject matter of the request. The building is to be used <br />for an off sale liquor store. <br />Questions centered on the size (32 X 50), operators (present owners of the Mermaid <br />Supper Club, Inc.) plans for present off sale space in the Mermaid (increase in <br />dining area), and violations of liquor laws (present record good). <br />There were no objections voiced at the meeting. <br />Mayor Rustad closed the hearing at 8:43 P.M. <br />MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To authorize Bennett Goldberg and Burton Rozman to move a <br />32 X 50 foot building, formerly the Clock Restaurant, into the Village to be <br />located on the parcel of property east of the Mermaid subject to application for <br />a building permit. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To uphold the Planning Commission denial of a subdivision <br />request for Sam Dalberg to divide the S 1/2 of Lot 16 Block 1 Greenfield Addition <br />into the East 1/2 and West 1/2 thereof. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: Asphalt Lino Lakes <br />Blacktop, All Service Blacktopping Inc.; Cement Work Gilbert Kocl., Inc.; <br />General Contractor Bryant Franklin Corp., Eigenheer Builders, Inc., White Oak <br />Builders, Inc., Carl Bolander Sons Co., Jamison Bros., Inc., Western Const. <br />Co.; Heating Amby Brown Plumbing Heating, Geo.
