The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:03 P.M. on Monday, July 26, 1971, at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Neisen <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Absent: Absent: <br />Councilman Blanchard Attorney Meyers <br />MSP (Hodges /Neisen) To approve the minutes of July 12, 1971. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Budrick Teslow returned to present his case for an effort being made to <br />alleviate his drainage problem at 7932 Fairchild. The Highway Department <br />again informed him that his house was built too low and that the Village was <br />at fault. Mayor Rustad instructed the staff to see if a bigger culvert <br />would solve the problem with the possibility of lowering the ditch. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />July 26, 1971 <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Schumacher <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Rustad /Neisen) To approve the following licenses: Asphalt United <br />Asphalt Co., Inc., Northern Asphalt Construction Co.; Cement Work Stone <br />Masonry, Don Zebro Cement Co.; General Contractor Victor Loeffler Const., <br />Robyn Lemancik Builders, S. J. Construction,Inc.; Heating Neil Hubbard <br />Heating Air Conditioning; Mobile Sewage Carrier Northern Cesspool Co.; <br />Moving Dale Movers, Inc.; Sewer and Water Hokanson Plumbing, Weleski <br />Son, and Robert Timm. <br />MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To approve the following bills: General Check #'s 5299 <br />5342 and Payroll Check #'s 2182 2210. Total disbursements $25,627.79. 4 Ayes <br />The Council stated that tighter control over purchasing was being discussed <br />for the future. <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To adopt Resolution #529 authorizing the Clerk- Administrator <br />to execute an agreement as requested by the Governor's Commission on Crime <br />Prevention and Control to seek reimbursement for the purchase of a $490.05 <br />Motorola Motrak radio for the police. <br />Councilman Hodges reported that he had attended a meeting on Community One but <br />that no formal requests for funds were to be made until the various Village <br />attorneys had met to determine what was legally possible regarding supportive <br />funds. <br />The Council noted that we will be receiving an old New Brighton warming house <br />to be placed at Greenfield Park. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />
