MSP (Baumgartner /Picker) To close the hearing at 8:46 Y.M. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Hodges /Pickar) To approve the following licenses: Asphalt H S Asphalt <br />Company, Metro Enterprises Inc.; Cement Al Mosier, Neal Cement Company; <br />General Contractor Phil Ducharm, Stuart Construction Company, Gilbert Const., <br />Company, Inc.; Roofing Andrews Sons Roofing, Greg's Roofing; Wrecking <br />Herbst Sons. <br />MSP (Neisen /Baumgartner) To approve the following bills: General checks #6066 <br />consecutive through 6103 and Payroll checks #2694 consecutive through 2715. Total <br />disbursements $17,351.37. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Zylla presented a report to the Council on the current value of the Mounds <br />View utility system as of 12/31/71. The report was authorized at the regular <br />meeting of December 27, 1971 and stems from the recommendation of the 1968 -1970 <br />audit report of the George M. Hansen Company. The Council received the report <br />which lists a current value as of December 31, 1971 of $9,451,503. <br />Clerk Zylla announced that there is approximately 400 feet of 4 inch Village <br />irrigation pipe which has been laying useless for the last five or six years. <br />He requested permission from the Council to sell the pipe or dispose of it in <br />some acceptable manner. <br />MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To authorize the Clerk to investigate selling the pipe. <br />MSP (Pickar /Neisen) To approve the subdivision of Lot 96 Knollwood Park Addition <br />for White Oak Builders subject to a 30 foot easement on the south. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Zylla announced that he has received certain aerial photographs of the <br />Village courtesy of a research firm. <br />MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To authorize the Clerk to investigate the possibility of <br />blowing up one of the pictures into an acceptable wall size photograph. <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />2 <br />Councilman Hodges relayed his thanks to the Mounds View Snowmobile Club, J W <br />Pickup Service, Mounds View Lionettes, Fedor's Market, Dick Paradise and others <br />for their assistance during the 1972 Mounds View Clean Up Day, Saturday, April <br />29th. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson announced that there will be a special hearing at the Fridley <br />City Hall at 8:00 P.M. on May 17th to consider the Metropolitan Sewer Board's <br />Five Year Capital Improvement Program. <br />Councilman Baumgnrt.ner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner stated that there was a Recreation meeting on May 7th and <br />their next meeting will be scheduled for the 17th.
