Councilman Baumgartner's Report uncilman Baumgartner stated that a Recreation Committee meeting was held November 9th which Mr. Conover of School District #621 was in attendance. The Committee spent time discussing rink attendants, deciding to set their salary at $2.10 per hour and set a deadline for applications of November 30, 1972. MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To approve the increase in rink attendants salary from the previously established $2.00 per hour to $2.10 per hour. Councilman Baumgartner read the Planning Commission minutes of October 25th. He also read a letter from Mayor Neisen dated October 24th in which Mayor Nelsen requested the Planning Commission to review all site and building plans for commercial and industrial developments including multiple dwellings. Councilman Picker's Report Councilman Pickar stated that there was no Lakeside Park Commission meeting last month, but that he would have a report on the skating facilities proposed for the park next month. He was also expecting additional news on his request for traffic control devices at the Quincy Street and County Road I intersection. The engineer had suggested this as a possibility since the street in the Industrial Park is unable to be completed this year. The Mayor's letter to the Planning Commission dated October 24th was discussed briefly. Mrs. Haake and Robert Glazer stated that they were no longer of the opinion that a pro- fessional planner was needed in order to perform the fsnction requested.
