Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />uncilman Baumgartner stated that a Recreation Committee meeting was held November 9th <br />which Mr. Conover of School District #621 was in attendance. The Committee spent time <br />discussing rink attendants, deciding to set their salary at $2.10 per hour and set a <br />deadline for applications of November 30, 1972. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To approve the increase in rink attendants salary from the <br />previously established $2.00 per hour to $2.10 per hour. <br />Councilman Baumgartner read the Planning Commission minutes of October 25th. He also <br />read a letter from Mayor Neisen dated October 24th in which Mayor Nelsen requested the <br />Planning Commission to review all site and building plans for commercial and industrial <br />developments including multiple dwellings. <br />Councilman Picker's Report <br />Councilman Pickar stated that there was no Lakeside Park Commission meeting last month, <br />but that he would have a report on the skating facilities proposed for the park next <br />month. He was also expecting additional news on his request for traffic control devices <br />at the Quincy Street and County Road I intersection. <br />Councilman Pickar thanked everyone for voting last Tuesday, especially those that voted <br />for him. <br />044 ttorney <br />Attorney <br />Freight, <br />be ready <br />A letter <br />ized use <br />Meyers' Report <br />Meyers stated that he has received no further information from Century Motor <br />however he understood that there was some work in process which he expected to <br />shortly. <br />from Ramsey County requesting passage of an ordinance prohibiting the unauthor- <br />of an opticom was set aside until further information was available. <br />6- <br />5 Ayes <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />MSP Neisen- Hodges) To approve change order #2 on Schedule B Project 1972 -3 and accepting <br />the letter from PBK Investment Company in which they agree to the change in construction <br />and any additional assessments. 5 Ayes <br />The Council decided not to proceed on the option of terminating the contract on 1972 -3 <br />Schedule B and adding it to 1973 street improvements in Red Oak Estates Plat No. 2. The <br />engineer had suggested this as a possibility since the street in the Industrial Park is <br />unable to be completed this year. <br />The Mayor's letter to the Planning Commission dated October 24th was discussed briefly. <br />Mrs. Haake and Robert Glazer stated that they were no longer of the opinion that a pro- <br />fessional planner was needed in order to perform the fsnction requested. <br />
