-6- <br />February 10, 1975 <br />Councilman Hodges stated he favors surveys. <br />MSP (Johnson Shelquist) to instruct the administrator to review the ordinance <br />section on minor subdivisions and come up with some alternative in terms <br />of wording and inserting that a survey be required when submitting a minor <br />subdivision to the Planning Commission and before it goes to Council for <br />approval. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Shelquist noted the minutes of January 27th requesting a recording <br />secretary at the Planning Commission meeting. Mayor Johnson directed the <br />administrator to investigate the possibility of hiring someone to record <br />Planning Commission minutes. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner reported that at the Park and Recreation meeting <br />January 9th Luverne Peterson was elected as chairman and Wayne Burmeister, <br />vice chairman. Thursday, March 6th is the next meeting. <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Pickar announced the Silver Skates Competition to beheld February <br />23rd at Lakeside Park. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers commented on the potential claims for water and sewer <br />backups and insurance claims rejected by our insurance company. He <br />suggests establishing a claims committee to periodically review these <br />claims. He commented on the request of PBK Investment Company to mike <br />torrens property of the Mounds View Industrial Park. Council will have <br />to file a cross application to protect the City of Mounds View. This <br />will have no adverse on our interest. <br />MSP (Hodges Pickar) to sign the cross application regarding the registration <br />of property known as Mounds View Industrial Park. 5 Ayes <br />Engineer Bearden's Report <br />Engineer Bearden stated NPDES permits for our water treatment plant should <br />be given to the Public Works department. Permit for Plant No. 1 delays <br />the date for completion of construction to June 30, 1976. <br />The water extension to JR0 Estates will add approximately $1700 to Project <br />1973 -4 to bring sewer 25 feet into the property. <br />Councilmen were in favor of the extension to get service to the lots. <br />Mayor Johnson instructed the engineer to inform contractor to extend <br />service into the lot. Engineer Bearden presented a preliminary study <br />to extend Knollwood south of Ardan Avenue. <br />MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) to accept this prelinimary study. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Pickar- Baumgartner) to accept the color scheme as presented in the <br />architect's display. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Baumgartner Hodges) To adjourn at 11:00 p.m. 5 Ayes <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Mark Achen <br />Clerk- Administrator <br />
