Page 10 <br />October 14, 1975 <br />#11299, transferring from General $37,458.55, Water $5,460. Sewer <br />$17,380.99 to pay gross payroll for October 15, 1975, Payroll checks <br />#3003 through #3034. Total disbursements $165,405.93. <br />Administrator Achen presented the licenses. <br />MSP (Hodges-Shelquist) to approve the licenses as presented. General <br />contracting Richard L. Warner (fencing), Dar Del Properties, E. T. Hughes, <br />Waldo R. Johnson; amusement devices Launching Pad, Mermaid Lounge, <br />Jubilee Music; blacktop Blacktop Specialists, Pavemaster's Inc.; heating <br />and A/C Four Seasons Air Specialist, Twin City Furnace, Richmond Sons <br />Electric, Maplewood Heating and Plbg.; masonry P.M. Gagnon Concrete <br />Masonry; heating The Dixon Company. <br />Administrator Achen reported that Midwest Planning and Research had <br />requested a contract between their firm and the City of Mounds View. <br />Mayor Johnson suggestea getting back with them and coming up with a <br />revised contract more clearly defining costs, etc. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner commented on the letter to the Planning Commission <br />from Mrs. Haake on mobile home lot garages. <br />Mayor Johnson felt the Planning Commission should make a recommendation <br />to the Council as far as garages on mobile home lots are concerned. <br />Councilman Shelquist agreed that the Planning Commission should come up <br />with a policy on this matter. He said this subject was the result of <br />a request by one person who wanted to build a pole type garage within <br />four feet of his mobile home. <br />Councilman Baumgartner noted that the new park is spelled with two words, <br />Silver View. <br />Councilman Baumgartner read the following park fund dedications accepted <br />by the Park and Recreation Commission: Balk- $273.00, Brogger- $138.00, <br />Schluter $115.00, Anderson Horst $55.50, Smith $53.00 <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Pickar reported the resignation of a Lakeside Park member. <br />He said the Commission would be looking for a new member. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers said the attorney for Mr. Dumas has filed an appeal to <br />protect his client's interest in regard to the 1973 -4 Improvement Project. <br />Attorney Meyers reported that there may be a possible consolidation of <br />the court system, this side of Ramsey County would go to Roseville. He <br />said he feels it is more convenient to keep it at New Brighton. <br />
