s/ <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />September 25, 1978 <br />The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of <br />routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council. The <br />entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The motion <br />for adoption is non debatable and must receive unanimous approval. <br />By request of any individual Councilmember, any item can be removed <br />from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda for debate. <br />ITEM A. Reschedule the October 9, 1978, regular City Council meeting, <br />which falls on a legal holiday, to 7:30 PM, Tuesday, October 10, <br />1978. <br />ITEM B. Set public hearing for 7:50 PM, Tuesday, October 10, 1978, <br />on the Willard Graham request to rezone 2525 County Road I <br />from R -1 to R -2 residential district. <br />ITEM C. Adopt Resolution No. 930 authorizing execution of Development <br />Agreement 78 -27 with Omega Management Inc. for the construction <br />of a duplex residence at 7636 Woodlawn Drive as recommended <br />b) the Planning Commission (9/13/78 minutes). Terms of the <br />Agreement require a $1,000 performance guarantee, sodding <br />paving, concrete sidewalks, two trees, and surface drainage <br />to Woodiawn Drive. <br />ITEM D. Adopt Resolution No. 931 amending salaries, wages and benefits <br />established for calendar year 1978 in order to rectify inequities <br />in pay levels resulting from the June 22, 1978, Teamsters <br />Local No. 320 police arbitration award. <br />ITEM E. Adopt Resolution No. 932 authorizing application for $3,000 of <br />a second year funding Local Planning Assistance Grant from <br />the Metropolitan Council; and authorize execution of an <br />amendment to the existing 1977 -1978 Local Planning Assistance <br />Grant Agreement to include the recently awarded $3,000 for <br />special problems planning. <br />ITEM F. Approve, as recommended by the Planning Commission (9/13/78 <br />minutes), the minor subdivision of Orval Adair to create two <br />lots from property located at 6900 Pleasant View Drive. The <br />east lot shall be 146 feet wide on its County Road H frontage <br />and have a ten foot utility easement along its south lot line. <br />The west lot shall be 153 feet wide. The existing garage and <br />shed, located on the newly created west lot, shall be removed <br />or relocated to conform with city building setback requirements <br />within one year of this date. As recommended by the Planning <br />Commission, staff is directed to inform property owners on <br />the west side of Pleasant View Drive between Woodale Drive <br />and County Road H of this subdivision and the procedures for <br />petitioning for a street extension on their west property lines. <br />ITEM G. Adopt Resolution No. 933 certifying delinquent utility and <br />tree removal charges to property taxes. <br />ITEM H. Approve the September 25, 1978, bills for payment. <br />ITEM I.
