PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to CALL TO ORDER <br />order at 7:35 PM, July 9, 1979 by the Mayor. <br />Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council <br />members Forslund, Hodges, Ziebarth 1. ROLL CALL <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Rowley <br />Also Present: Building Zoning Official Rose, <br />City Attorney Meyers, and City Administrator Nelson <br />The Mayor recommended the minutes of June 25, 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1979 be approved as corrected. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays <br />There were none at this time. 3. PZTITION %COMPLAINTS <br />OF PUBLIC <br />Maynard Bowman re: a variance granted him on <br />6/21/79 by the Planning Commission for a 5.4 <br />foot sideyard setback, conditional that no <br />windows be installed on the south wall of the <br />new structure toward his neighbor- -wants to <br />appeal to remove the stipulation of no <br />windows because of depreciation to house, <br />loss of sunlight, heat and air. Neighbor <br />objects due to possibility of noise trans- <br />ferring and loss of privacy. <br />2ieba=th made the motiuu, Seconded by Nudges <br />to table the matter based on inadequate <br />information to make a decision. <br />The motion was withdrawn. <br />Ziebarth made the motion, seconded by Hodges <br />for a continuance of the hearing on July 23, <br />1979 based on inadequate information to <br />make a decision. <br />*The mayor asked to abstain from voting as <br />it involves friends and neighbors. <br />Forslund made the motion, seconded by Hodges <br />to approve the Consent Agenda.
