MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Page 4 Bill Doty, 3049 Bronson, and Neil Loeding, 5046 Longview Drive, asked if any action would be taken re: their charge of interference by the City Administrator during the recent Charter campaign. The Council was in general agreement that it was best left in the past. Foreland suggested they might discuss it when the Council meets with the Charter Commission. Ray Malerm, proprietor of Angie's Pizza, requesta the 3.2 beer license fee be lowered from $1,000. Council explained the fee is primarily aimed at the only 3.2 applicant, the Bel -Rae, which requires considerable police coverage. The fee also prohibits numerous 3.2 joints from starting up in the City. Ziebarth moved that we grant Angie's Pizza a license for $500 for half of the year, giving credit for the number of days into the first half -year at date of issuance. This is granted with the understanding that the Council will review the license fee and if the figure is less per half -year than the amount paid, the excess money will be credited the next fee period. Personal auto mileage will be changed from 200 to 194. 2) Resolution 1063 Teacher of the Year Rowley moved to adopt Resolution 1063 recognizing Ceil Quaife, Teacher of the Year for Mounds View, and waive the reading of it.
