MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting <br />Page Six July 14, 1980 <br />Attorney Meyers noted that he will be on vacation <br />during the July 28th Council meeting. <br />Councilmember Rowley: (ROWLEY) <br />She asked staff what the status of the <br />4 -way stop at Ridge Lane and Irondale <br />was. Acting Clerk- Administrator Anderson <br />noted that the police chief is installing <br />the four -way stop signs on a 60 day <br />temporary basis at which time the police <br />will decide they should be permanently <br />installed. <br />Rowley made a motion, seconded by Forslund, <br />that Council approve the recommendation by <br />the police chief to install the two extra <br />stop signs at the intersection of Ridge <br />Lane and Irondale so that a four -way stop <br />intersection can be tested for a 60 -day <br />trial period. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION CARRIES. <br />She distributed copies of a Resolution #1127 to the <br />Council (delay amendment process for City Comprehensive <br />Plan). <br />Rowley made a motion, seconded by McCarty, <br />that Resolution #1127 be adopted (copies of <br />which were distributed to Council tonight). <br />RESOLUTION #1127 <br />THE MOTION CARRIES. (MOTION CARRIES) <br />Councilmember Forslund: (FORSLUND) <br />She asked what the status of the fence around <br />the apartment complex on Highway 10. Attorney <br />Meyers informed the Council that Staff was <br />directed to notity the property owner that <br />the fence should either be maintained or remodeled <br />to avoid further purblic nuisance.
