MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL October 14, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />MOTION: <br />McCarty made a motion, seconded by Rowley, to <br />authorize Administrator Pauley to dispose of <br />the remaining 4 surplus vehicles in whatever <br />manner he determined appropriate: <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />3. He noted the resignation letter from the current <br />recording secretary, Ruth Tellinghuisen, dated <br />October 14, 1980. <br />Mayor McCarty asked the recording secretary if <br />she would reconsider the resignation if the <br />various problems noted in the memo could be <br />addressed and possibly resolved. The recording <br />secretary, Ruth Tellinghuisen, agreed to this <br />request. She noted, however, that she would <br />consider the resignation from the Planning Commission <br />still to be effective immediately and the Council <br />to be effective November 1, 1980, unless some <br />point of resolution was reached before that time. <br />Pauley noted this would be discussed at the next <br />Council meeting and the Chairperson of the Planning <br />Commission would be asked to attend that discussion. <br />The Council took a recess at 8:25 P.M. <br />The Council resumed the meeting at 8:45 P.M. <br />MOTION: <br />Forslund made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, <br />to remove this item from the table. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />1950 Ford Van Ette <br />1974 Ford Torino -4 door <br />1970 Ford Econoline <br />1976 Plymouth Grand Fury 4 door <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />Official Rose noted that this item was tabled on February 11, <br />1980, in order to have the applicant receive approval from <br />Rice Creek Watershed District. This approval has now been <br />obtained. Official Rose went over the site plan. <br />City Engineer Lu;,rud reviewed the significance of the drainage <br />proposal study and the considerations regarding it. <br />There were no comments or questions from the floor. <br />12.
