MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL April 13, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting <br />He stated that Page 35 of the Capital Improve- <br />ments Program should be the same as Page 158 of <br />the Development Guide. <br />Mayor McCarty returned at 8:38 p.m. <br />Discussion took place regarding the printing <br />error that had been made on Page 35 of the <br />Capital Improvements Program. <br />COUNCIL RECESS FOR A BREAK: 8:46 p.m. <br />COUNCIL RE- CONVENED AT: 8 :56 p.m. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Doty made a motion, <br />seconded by Councilmember Hodges to adopt <br />Resolution 1265, with the changes that would <br />take place on Page 35 of the Capital Improve- <br />ments Program to be the same as what is on <br />Page 158 of the Development Framework under <br />Municipal Bonding Authority and to let the <br />Planning Commission ratify what they have done, <br />and to waive the reading of the Resolution. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />Discussion took place regarding Item 0 of the <br />Consent Agenda. <br />Councilmember Hodges stated that May 2nd has <br />been set aside for clean -up day. <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director <br />Anderson reviewed the bids for the installation <br />of underground electrical service to the City <br />Hall Park picnic shelter. He stated that staff <br />had received four bids, and that they were <br />recommending that the bid be awarded to Collins <br />Electric. He discussed the required specifi- <br />cations. He stated that Collins Electric had not <br />included ground fault protectors in their original <br />bid, it would be an additional $600.00, making <br />their total bid $2,975.00. <br />Councilmember Doty asked if there were any unfore- <br />seen funds in the Park and Recreation Fund that <br />could make u; for the difference in the bid. <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director Anderson <br />stated that the only area in which they would be <br />saving money was the brochure printing. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Doty made a motion, seconded <br />by Councilmember Hodges to adopt Resolution 1262, <br />awarding the bid to Collins Electric in the amount <br />of $2,975.00, and to transfer funds that are avail- <br />able from the Parks and Recreation Fund that would <br />have been used in printing of the brochure. <br />Page Six. <br />6.
