Mounds View City Council June 22, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />""',fficial Rose reported that Future Fence had <br />at provided the City with proof of insurance <br />coverage and requested that their license be <br />revoked. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Forslund to revoke the <br />license of Future Fence on the grounds that <br />they have failed to provide insurance. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Official Rose reported that he had received <br />a letter from the attorney of Tyson Trucking, <br />expressing concern with the SDM charge for <br />their proposed development. <br />Mayor McCarty replied that the SDM charge has <br />presented problems many times and suggested <br />that the Council discuss it at their next <br />agenda session. <br />Official Rose discussed his memo to the <br />Council regarding the Water Quality Management <br />Plan. <br />otion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to direct Staff <br />p convey to the MWCC support of Alternate #2. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Attorney Meyers reported that he had researched <br />Laws 1980, regarding subdivision laws, per the <br />Council's request, and summarized his findings. <br />Attorney Meyers reported that he had been request- <br />ed to provide the police reports to the widow of <br />the homicide victim from the Launching Pad, and <br />that he had denied ;he request, due to the privacy <br />laws, and that the City is now being sued to have <br />them released. He explained that if he had <br />released them, the City could also have been sued <br />by the individual involved in the case. He added <br />that they will await a judge's opinion on whether <br />they should be released. <br />Attorney Meyers reported that he had read the draft <br />Master Plan for the Anoka County Airport and reviewed <br />it. <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />12.
