Mounds View City Council June 22, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />official Rose reported that Tyson Trucking <br />gas requested to be placed on the July 13 <br />agenda, to discuss both tax exempt financing <br />and to present the data of a study being <br />done concerning a potential noise problem <br />on the property they would like to develop. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to set a <br />public hearing in reference to the proposed <br />changes to the Tyson Trucking development on <br />July 13, 1981 at 7:50 PM, and for the tax <br />exempt financing, adopting Resolution No. 1323 <br />and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Official Rose discussed the improvements that <br />are currently being made to the Edgewood School <br />property. He stated that the MWCC would like <br />to give a parcel of land to the school, where <br />their lift station is located, and with the <br />way the law reads, they must first give it back <br />to the City, and then the City give it to the <br />school. He added that he was also discussing <br />the possibility of the MWCC giving another <br />parcel of land to the City to use fora cold <br />'torage building. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct the <br />Building and Zoning Official to pursue nego- <br />tiations with the MWCC for cold storage space. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to authorize <br />the City Attorney to continue negotiations with <br />the MWCC to expedite the property transfer to <br />the school. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Official Rose requested Council approval for <br />the general contractors license for E. T. Hughes, <br />which had not been included in the development <br />agreement which had been approved earlier. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Doty to approve the <br />general construction license of E.
