PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM, on July 13, <br />1981. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Doty, <br />Hodges and Mayor McCarty. <br />It was announced that Councilmember. Forslund was <br />ill and would not be attending the meeting. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk /Administrator Pauley, City <br />Attorney Meyers and Building and Zoning <br />Official Rose. <br />Lotion /Second: Hodges /Blanchard to approve the <br />June 22, 1981 minutes as corrected. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to approve the <br />June 25, 1981 minutes as presented. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty replied that the Council is very <br />concerned with the safety of the area and that <br />,e decision was made after extensive reports from <br />�}}rious Department Heads, and the decision was <br />�6ased on good information. Residents Requests <br />she had requested a three -way stop sign at and Comments from <br />County Road H2 and Jackson and had found out the Floor <br />that it had been denied. She requested that it <br />be looked into further and mentioned several <br />instances of speeding cars and cars out of <br />control on their street, and the numerous children <br />that lived on the street and played in the park. <br />She stated that she was afraid someone was going <br />to be hurt. <br />
