Mounds View City Council August 10, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />'otion /Second: Forslund /Doty to advertise for <br />.ids for the rough grading of Silver View Park, <br />to be opened at 1 PM on August 17, 1981, with <br />the bids being presented to the Council at a <br />special meeting set for 6 PM on August 17. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Doty pointed out that even <br />though there has already been some rough <br />grading done, the City is not bound by a <br />contract. <br />Official Rose stated that the New Brighton <br />Sanitarian, Dave Frigen, had been very helpful <br />with the inspections of the Launching Pad. <br />Official Rose reported that the City has <br />received the preliminary copy of the final plat <br />for the Krause /Anderson M&E Realty property, <br />and it will be on the agenda at the end of the <br />month for final approval. <br />Acting Mayor Hodges asked if anything had been <br />one regarding the handicapped parking at Mounds <br />=low Square. Official Rose replied that letters <br />had been sent to all businesses but that the <br />code was not retroactive, so it must be done <br />voluntarily. Acting Mayor Hodges asked the <br />Clerk /Administrator to draw up a letter to send <br />to the owners. <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />Councilmember Doty reported that he had <br />joined the League of Cities committee on <br />pensions and PERA and would be interested in <br />any comments from City employees. <br />Councilmember Forslund asked when the postponed <br />Planning Commission meeting would be held. <br />Official Rose replied that it would be August 19. <br />Councilmember Forslund reported that the Ramsey <br />County League meeting will be held August 19. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />sting Mayor Hodges had no report. <br />Motion Carried <br />11.
