Mounds View City Council September 28, 1981 <br />Regular fleeting Page Stx <br />ethod of collecting the delinquent accounts. <br />He added that they should deal fairly and equally <br />with all concerned, whether the delinquent account <br />be large or small, and that the County would check <br />into any hardships. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to adopt Resolu- <br />tion No. 1366 and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Finance Director Brager reviewed the proposed <br />1982 debt service levy. He recommended that <br />action on it also be deferred until the October <br />1 special meeting. <br />Official Rose had no report. <br />Attorney Karney had no report. <br />ouncilmember Hodges had no report. <br />Councilmember Forslund had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Mayor McCarty reported that he had attended <br />the transportation subcommittee meeting on <br />the Anoka County airport. He reported that <br />adoption has been recommended of the master <br />plan study as recommended by the MAC, and <br />further hearings will be held. <br />Mayor McCarty reported he had attended a <br />meeting of manufactured home owners, formerly <br />known as mobile home owners, at which several <br />complaints were aired. He stated he would be <br />checking into several of the problems, and <br />asked for a memo from the Police Chief regarding <br />the policy on responding to calls from the <br />manufactured home parks, as to whether it is <br />considered private property. <br />Mayor McCarty reported that he had received <br />a call from a former resident, asking that <br />heir late water charge be forgiven. He <br />tated he had checked with Staff and found <br />the procedure had been properly followed and <br />recommended the request be denied. <br />Motion Carried <br />13.
