Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting Motion /Second: Forslund /Doty to grant authority for the City to enter into a contract with SOS Office Equipment at $49.00 per machine for $343.00 per year. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to delay Item A from the Consent Agenda until the Administrator's report. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty recommended taking a second look at closing the Greenfield Park warming house, Item E on the Consent Agenda, since a good deal of money had been put into it, and it serves a large group of people. Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained that the lights will be left on, but there would be no Staff or warming house. He added that Park Director Anderson did not feel it would have a major impact as there is a hockey rink a few blocks away, which does have a warming house. Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to table Item E until such time as they can discuss it with Park Director Anderson. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty stated that on at least two occasions, the City has rejected the proposal that the Oak Lake Park pond service an area which extends beyond the boundry of the development itself. Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to table the storm water drainage plan for the Kraus /Anderson development until such time as a clear area of benefit can be established by a hydrologist. 5 ayes 0 nays Mr. Sunde presented a letter to the Council, in explanation of the plans he had previously submitted. He stated that they are meeting and exceeding the minimum ponding requirements. Mayor McCarty pointed out that the Short, Elliot, Hendrickson report of 1976 which Mr. Sunde had referred to had not been accepted by the City, and that they want the pond to be within the boundries of this development only, and that they will deal with e7ch December 2R 1981 Page Two Motion Carried Motion Carried Motion Carried 7.
