5 ayes 0 nays <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM, on <br />January 25, 1982. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley, Finance Director Brager, <br />Public Works Superintendent Decheine and Police <br />Corporal Brick. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Forslund to approve the <br />January 11, 1982 minutes as corrected. <br />There were no residents requests or comments <br />from the floor. <br />Motion /Second: Hodges /Blanchard to approve <br />consent agenda and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />Finance Director Brager presented the Council <br />with copies of the December 1981 Financial <br />Reports. Finance Director Brager reviewed <br />staff memorandums discussing the impacts of <br />the recently adopted State Financing Bill <br />(HF -2) indicating that 1982 Local Government <br />Aids and Homestead Credits to the General <br />Fund would be reduced in the amount of <br />$60,485.57, the Shade Tree Grant Program was <br />eliminated which, along with a reduction in <br />Homestead Credits, would result in a reduction <br />of aids to the Forestry Fund in the amount of <br />$4,660.54. Finance Director Brager also indi- <br />cated that as a result of the reductions in <br />the Homestead Credit, the Improvement Bond <br />Fund would have a revenue loss in the amount <br />of $107.25 and the Refunding Bond Fund would <br />have a revenue loss of $774.36.
