Mounds View City Council April 26, 1982 Regular Meeting Page Four Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened the third public hearing at 8:02 PM. Marlin Grant, president of Marvin Anderson Homes, outlined the requested revision before the Council. He explained they have requested the change from townhouses to condominiums as they have received a strong indication from people interested in the development that they are looking for the $70,000 to $100,000 price range, which the condominiums are, rather than the $130,000 to $140,000 price range of the townhouses. Mr. Grant answered questions from the Council, and presented sketches of what the proposed development will look like. Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened the regular meeting at 8:12 PM. Councilmember Forslund stated the Planning Commi- ssion had been concerned with the number of parking spaces required by Code. Official Rose replied the Planning Commission at their last meeting directed Statf to revise the Code review to include one parking space per unit for condominiums. Attorney Meyers added Council cannot authorize this before the Code change takes place, but consideration could be given this evening. Mayor McCarty suggested directing Staff to draft an addendum to the original agreement, and take final action at a later date. Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct Staff to draft an agreement containing the following, a resolution amending Resolution No. 1319, exhibiting the revised development stage plans for Tract D and noting the change from zoning of R -3 to R -4. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to direct Staff to draft an amendment to the September 22, 1980 agreement with Kraus Anderson, M E Realty Company and Marvin H. Anderson Construction, stating that the applicants agree to make payment of all City charges and fees as they exist or are amended, and to amend the September 22, 1986 agreement ar: the public improvement i-.greement to modify the approved assessment schedule to agree with the bond payment schedule for the public improvement, and to add to the September 22, 1980 agreement a provision which would approve a schedule for payment of the SWM charges as approved by the City Attorney. 5 ayes 0 nays 7C.
