Mounds View City Council April 26, 1982 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the third public hearing at 8:02 PM. <br />Marlin Grant, president of Marvin Anderson Homes, <br />outlined the requested revision before the <br />Council. He explained they have requested the <br />change from townhouses to condominiums as they <br />have received a strong indication from people <br />interested in the development that they are <br />looking for the $70,000 to $100,000 price range, <br />which the condominiums are, rather than the <br />$130,000 to $140,000 price range of the townhouses. <br />Mr. Grant answered questions from the Council, and <br />presented sketches of what the proposed development <br />will look like. <br />Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 8:12 PM. <br />Councilmember Forslund stated the Planning Commi- <br />ssion had been concerned with the number of parking <br />spaces required by Code. Official Rose replied <br />the Planning Commission at their last meeting <br />directed Statf to revise the Code review to include <br />one parking space per unit for condominiums. <br />Attorney Meyers added Council cannot authorize this <br />before the Code change takes place, but consideration <br />could be given this evening. <br />Mayor McCarty suggested directing Staff to draft <br />an addendum to the original agreement, and take <br />final action at a later date. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct Staff to <br />draft an agreement containing the following, a <br />resolution amending Resolution No. 1319, exhibiting <br />the revised development stage plans for Tract D <br />and noting the change from zoning of R -3 to R -4. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to direct Staff <br />to draft an amendment to the September 22, 1980 <br />agreement with Kraus Anderson, M E Realty Company <br />and Marvin H. Anderson Construction, stating that <br />the applicants agree to make payment of all City <br />charges and fees as they exist or are amended, and <br />to amend the September 22, 1986 agreement ar: the <br />public improvement i-.greement to modify the approved <br />assessment schedule to agree with the bond payment schedule <br />for the public improvement, and to add to the <br />September 22, 1980 agreement a provision which <br />would approve a schedule for payment of the SWM <br />charges as approved by the City Attorney. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />7C.
