Mounds View City Council May 24, 1982 <br />Regular Meeting Page Nine <br />Mayor McCarty passed out a proposed resolution <br />regarding Golden Gloves boxing in Mounds View, and <br />asked the Council to forego adoption. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct the proper <br />Staff member to rescind the letter endorsing the <br />Golden Gloves boxing in the Mounds View Rec <br />program and further, that the applicant be directed <br />to redirect his request to the Mounds View School <br />Board, for Edgewood Junior High. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty directed Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />to give a firm, verbal reprimand to the appropriate <br />Staff person. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that Ron <br />Fagerstrom had suffered a heart attack on <br />May 21, and was at Unity Hospital. He stated <br />he would update the Council as soon as he <br />received further information. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley review items that <br />had recently been received from the Net Council, <br />regarding an upcoming meeting, the proposed <br />landfill site in Shoreview, and the airport <br />noise land compatability plan. He stated he <br />would be placing the aircraft noise /land use <br />compatibility plan on the June 8 agenda. <br />Motion /Second: Doty/Hodges to adjourn the 13.
