Call to Order <br />by Mayor McCarty at 7:31 PM. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hodges, Forslund, 2. Roll Call <br />Blanchard, Doty and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works <br />/Community <br />Development Director Johnson. <br />3. Approval of <br />Minutes: <br />May 10, 1082 <br />Motion Carried <br />Peg Mountin, 8287 Red Oak Drive, reported a pro- 4. Residents Requests <br />blem the Girl Scouts had encountered at Green- and Comments from <br />field Park, while working on Clean -Up Day. She the Floor <br />stated they were bothered by youths riding mini <br />bikes, and asked that the area perhaps be posted <br />with signs, stating no motorized vehicles in the <br />park. She added that residents in the area have <br />had the same problem. <br />Donald Gross, 8060 Groveland Road, asked the <br />status of the radiator repair shop and why he was <br />allowed to be in business. Attorney Meyers <br />replied the City had taken action, based upon <br />the sign violation, but the Court had ruled it <br />was not a sign violation. He added that the City <br />is in the grocess of gathering further evidence in <br />order to return to court. <br />Mr. Gross also expressed concern with Steve's <br />Appliance, and the garbage he leaves on his lot. He <br />presented the Council with pictures he had taken <br />earlier in the day. Mr. Gross also questioned <br />why the City of Mounds View could not police their <br />businesEes as other cities can. Mayor McCarty replied <br />the City has taken action in the past and will take <br />further action. <br />
