Mounds View City Council June 28, 1982 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />seem to be any central location of the problem. <br />There was discu_, ion regarding options open to the <br />City, and the cost of adding filtration equipment <br />to that already in use. <br />Mayor McCarty suggested a letter be composed quickly <br />which will explain the situation, and be sent to <br />each person who calls regarding their water. <br />Attorney Meyers reported that effective July 1, <br />1982, the law authorizes City's to prosecute all <br />gross misdemeanors, which will involve a great <br />deal of time on the part of the police officers <br />and City Attorney. <br />Councilmember Doty had no report. 10. Reports of <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Blanchard reported she had attended <br />the League of Cities conference in Rochester, and <br />felt it was very informative. She also felt that <br />Mounds View was very progressive in the steps <br />they are taking now. <br />Councilmember Hodges reported the Youth Service <br />Bureau had left their budget the same as last <br />year. He added they will be moving to the <br />Edgewood Community Center. <br />Councilmember Hodges read a notice of Zak <br />MacRunnels, who will be awarded as an Eagle <br />Scout on July 14. <br />Councilmember Forslund reported she would be <br />on vacation next week. <br />Mayor McCarty reported he had received the <br />annual report from the School District. <br />9. Report of Attorney <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the 11. Report of <br />Jaycee's would not be holding their rodeo. Administrator <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the <br />Council was invited to the grand opening drawing <br />of the First State Bank of New Brighton, <br />on July 1 at 4 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley presented the <br />Council with a memo from Park Director Anderson, <br />recommending payment for the turf establishment <br />at Silver View Park, with a retainage being <br />held. <br />
