The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1. Call to Order Mayor McCarty at 7:35 PM on August 23, 1982. MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Doty, Hodges, Forslund and Mayor McCarty. It was noted Councilmember Blanchard was absent. ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ Administrator Pauley and Public Works /Community Development Director Johnson. Motion /Second: Doty /Forslund to approve the August 9, 1982 minutes as corrected. 4 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty stated that the Festival in the Park had been a very fun and yet a very humbling event, considering the Mounds View citizens who took the time and made the sacrifice so others could have the day to enjoy. Mayor McCarty read Resolution No. 1474, and thanked the Festivities Commission for a job well done. Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to adopt Resolu- tion No. 1474. 4 ayes 0 nays PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened the public hearing for the Silver Lake Woods assessments at 7:45 PM. Dale Cremers, of Kraus Anderson, presented the Council with a proposed change to the schedule of assessments for the Silver Lake Woods project. He explained this change would allow higher assessments .o be put on the condominiums, and thereby lower the assessments for the single family homes.
