Mounds View City Council January 24, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Six <br />Director Johnson reviewed the recommendation from <br />the Planning Commission. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Linke that the City Council <br />grant that when an individual portable sign request <br />is made, approval could be granted administratively, <br />and that the applicable fees are applied by Staff <br />at that time. Permits will be issued only to <br />licensed sign installers. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated he will be working <br />with Attorney Meyers on rewriting the ordinance. <br />It was noted there is a Wetland Committee meeting <br />scheduled for January 31 at 7 PM with Mr. Isberg, <br />and the subcommittee meeting on Wednesday at 6 PM. <br />Councilmember Linke reported he had attended the <br />League meetir:g on the court system last week, <br />and that New Brighton, White Bear Lake and Roseville <br />are definitely opposed to the court system proposal. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported she had attended the <br />Executive Board meeting of the North Suburban Youth <br />Service Bureau last Thursday and would be attending <br />another in the near future. <br />Councilmember Blanchard reminded everyone of the <br />School Board meeting on January 26 at 3:30 PM, and <br />stated she planned to attend. Mayor McCarty stated <br />he would be attending also. <br />Councilmember Doty asked Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />to issue a memo to all City Staff, asking for their <br />input to him regarding pensions labor relations, <br />12.
