Mounds View City Council April 11, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Ten <br />up a debate between himself and Representative Voss, <br />as suggested by the Mounds View DFL Club, to assist the State <br />i Senators, Councihu nber Linke replied he would contact the <br />chairman of the DFL to set it up. <br />Mayor McCarty thanked Clerk /Administrator Pauley and <br />Staff and Council members for the very good job they <br />did at the airport hearing. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he is in the 18. Report of <br />process of getting the spring clean -up organized, Clerk/ <br />for May 7. He stated it would be discussed Administrator <br />further at the April 18 agenda session. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he had a draft <br />of the newsletter available for review. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that he is <br />obtaining copies of cover sheets other Citys use <br />in submitting their recommendations to their <br />Councils. He stated he hopes to implement something of <br />the same nature within the next few nbnths. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked for Council <br />authorization to hire a temporary worker to cover <br />phones and the front desk at City Hall on <br />April 18 -21, while all the clerical workers will <br />be going to Computer Central's office for training <br />on the word processor. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Linke to authorize Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley to hire a temporary worker <br />for April 18 -21. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Hankner to adjourn the meeting 19.
