Mounds View City Council June 13, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Hankner to approve the <br />?irst reading of Ordinance No 343, amending <br />the Municipal Code of the City of Mounds View, by <br />amending Chapters 60, 61, 62 and 63. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley noted the funding had <br />already been approved in the budget, and that it is <br />common practice for the Council to approve all <br />individuals hired by the City. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hankner to approve the hiring <br />of Donald Matanowski and Nick Barbato, as summer park <br />maintenance laborers at the rate of $5.50 and $5.00 <br />per hour, respectively, effective May 31, 1983. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained that the memo <br />dated June 9, 1983 from Park Director Anderson <br />was just an update for the Council on the composting <br />proposal. <br />Director Johnson reviewed his memo of June 9, 1983 <br />to the Council, providing an update on special pub- <br />lic works projects. He reported there has been a <br />great deal of activity in special projects, and he <br />has utilized the budgeted hours that were set aside <br />for 1983. <br />Director Johnson reviewed the status of the budgeted <br />hours and dollars. Clerk /Administrator Paulev stated <br />he would provide the Council with a specific recommen- <br />dation on how to proceed to further provide additional <br />service time from Director Johnson. <br />Director Johnson asked the Co;incil's consideration of <br />proposed Resolution No. 1619, for the Dalberg Develop- <br />ment proposal, so they could proceed. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Hankner to adopt Resolution <br />No. 1619 and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />8.
