Mounds View City Council June 27, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Six <br />regarding the water pollution from the Arsenol, to be <br />used as a public news release. <br />Mayor McCarty asked for concensus from the Council to <br />give no sympathy to any Council member or Department <br />Head found without a Festival in the Park button. <br />Clerk /Administrator. Pauley reviewed the cost of con- 15. Report of <br />verting roll pak unit #101 from gasoline to LP, with Administrator <br />the difference being $2.50. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Blanchard to authorize the <br />conversion of the roll pak unit to LP. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he had received <br />a call from the new administrator /manager of CTF, Inc., <br />stating they would like to be able to come back and <br />finish the Long Lake Road ditch job. Clerk /Administra- <br />tor Pauley stated he advised the gentleman he would <br />have to contact the bonding company for their approval, <br />and that also if they did do the work, they would have <br />to put everything back to the original specifications. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported they hope to have <br />the City Newsletter out on July 5, and that some <br />articles are being rewritten to update their informa- <br />tion. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the proposed costs <br />involved in the goal setting seminar, and reviewed <br />where he had been able to locate funds toward the cost. <br />Mayor McCarty stated he felt it was important for Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley to attend his national conference <br />as it is very valuable to the City. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /hlanchard to approve the request <br />for the seminar, and that the money be taken from the <br />contingency fund. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to adjourn the meeting at 16.
