Mounds View City Council August 8, 1983 Regular Meeting Page Six Staff's report. The developer will submit all docu- ments necessary for final plat and development agreement approvals within 45 days of conceptual approval of the wetlands alteration permit. The Council authorizes Staff to submit proposals for an expert in the field to determine the validity of the developers proposal in reference to the wetlands boundry lines. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty clarified that they can only enforce the ordinances that are in effect, and they need to take the proposal against existing ordinances only. Mr. Miller replied that it is important to get conceptual approval of the wetlands alteration before they spend a considerable amount on engineering. Councilmember Linke stated he thought the Council would be able to give a definite opinion at the end of the 60 day period. It was also clarified that Phase 2 was not involved at this time. Mr. Miller stated thatthe Ramsey Soils and water Conserva- tion District has indicated there are errors in the map used for the wetland map, and that they will be happy to resolve those issues. It was pointed out in an August 5 letter from Mr. Malkerson that the site might be reclassified. Mr. Miller stated he was comfortable with the dates which had been established. It was noted that the Council granted the extension on the basis of the applicant's attorney's recommen- dation and the request of the applicant, per their letter of August 5, 1983. Clerk /Administrator Pauley presented the Council with a proposed timetable for review and approval of amendments to Chapter 40. He stated that copies would be given to the Planning Commission, after approval by the Council. Motion /Second: Blanchard /Hankner to approve the timetable for Chapter 40 zoning code review. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried 11.
