Mounds View City Council August 8, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Nine <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that he and Finance <br />'Director Brager will be meeting with the Finance Director <br />and City Manager of Blaine and the City Manager of <br />Spring Lake Park to discuss the Fire Department budget. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he would be on vaca- <br />tion August 10 -12. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley updated the Council on a <br />meeting he had recently attended regarding the decrease <br />in revenues to the City from the State. <br />Councilmember Doty discussed portions of the airport <br />hearing officers report to the MAC and recommended the <br />Council send a comment back where they disagree. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied that a letter has <br />been sent to the new Met Council rep, inviting her <br />in for a meeting. <br />Mayor McCarty added that the City can only lodge <br />complaints and cannot force legal action. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reminded the Council that <br />the liason positions are in effect. <br />Motion/Second; Linke /Hankner to adjourn the meeting 17.
