He stated there is a light
on each end of the street, and they would like one
in the middle, due to vandalism, and they have had
seven out of eight home owners sign the petition
for the street light. He explained the eighth person
was the neighbor across the street from him, who does
not want the light in his yard.
Mayor McCarty replied that the Council had approved
the installation of a street light across the street
from Mr. Frauendienst, but there turned out to be
electrical problems in that spot, and a new location
must be found.
Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated that he has asked
Staff to meet with the residents and find a new
location for the light which is agreeable to them.
Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct Staff to give
the Council, for consideration at their next agenda
session, a list of three alternative sites for the
street light on Pleasant View Drive.
5 ayes 0 nays
DATED APPROVED: 10/10/83
Regular Meeting
September 26, 1983
Mounds View City Hall
2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112
The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1.
