MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Linke, Hankner, Blanchard, Doty and Mayor McCarty. ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ Administrator Pauley and Public Works /Community Development Director Johnson. Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to approve the September 12, 1983 minutes as corrected. 5 ayes 0 nays PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Don Frauendienst, 8335 Pleasant View Drive, stated he has lived at that address for the past six years, and for the past six months has been trying to get a street light put in. He stated there is a light on each end of the street, and they would like one in the middle, due to vandalism, and they have had seven out of eight home owners sign the petition for the street light. He explained the eighth person was the neighbor across the street from him, who does not want the light in his yard. Mayor McCarty replied that the Council had approved the installation of a street light across the street from Mr. Frauendienst, but there turned out to be electrical problems in that spot, and a new location must be found. Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated that he has asked Staff to meet with the residents and find a new location for the light which is agreeable to them.
