Mounds View City Council September <br />Regular Meeting Page Six <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to table Ordinance No. <br />349 and reirgw at the next agenda session. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to have the second read- <br />ing and adoption of Ordinance No. 347, amending <br />the municipal code of Mounds View by <br />Chapter 1, entitled "General Provisions of Code" <br />and Chapter 202, entitled "Snowmobiles", and waive <br />the reading of the ordinance. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Linke aye <br />Hankner aye <br />Blanchard aye <br />Doty aye <br />aye <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Hankner to accept the three <br />names from the Civil Service Commission as can <br />didates for the Police Chief position. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Hankner to table the appoint- <br />ment for the choice of Police Chief until the next <br />regularly scheduled Council meeting. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Hankner explained that the Council <br />had appointments to meet with the three finalists <br />on September 27. <br />Attorney Meyers advised that the three finalists <br />should be notified of their selection, and that <br />once the naves have been certified by the Council, <br />they have a reasonable time to do so. <br />Mayor McCarty questioned whether another 90 day <br />extension could be granted.
