PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on December 12, 1983. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Doty, Linke, <br />Hankner, Blanchard and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk- Admini- <br />strator Pauley and Public Works /Community Development <br />Director Johnson. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Doty to approve the November <br />14, 1983 minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Linke to approve the <br />November 29, 1983 minutes as corr.ez:ted. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Jim Gabel and Jerry Blanchard, of the Mounds View <br />Lions Club, presented the City and Police Chief <br />Ramacher with a check for $300 for the purchase <br />of camera equipment for the Police Department. <br />Chief Ramacher thanked the Lions for the donation. <br />Chief Ramacher asked for Council 'thorization to <br />advertise for bids for new squad cars. <br />Councilmember Linke recommended checking with Ramsey <br />County as they buy in quantity and the City could <br />get a considerable savings if they bought their cars <br />at the same time. <br />Chief Ramacher stated that in the future, he would <br />check with them but there is a time problem in getting <br />the cars now, and they would like to order them as <br />soon as possible. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to authorize the advertise- <br />ment for bids for squad cars. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />DATE APPROVED: 12/27,'83 <br />Regular Meeting <br />December 12, 1983 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />1.
