Mayor McCarty <br />and Honeywell <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on March 26, 1984. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Doty, <br />Linke, Hankner and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk /Admini- <br />strator Pauley and Public Works /Community Development <br />Director Thatcher. <br />Councilmember <br />be said. The <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />and the Council thanked Mr. Pickering <br />for their donation. <br />Doty asked that the Pledge of Allegiance <br />Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />There were no residents requests or comments from the <br />floor. <br />DATE APPROVED: 4/9/84 <br />Regular Meeting <br />March 26, 1984 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Park Director Anderson explained that a contact had <br />been made through the Groveland Park Association to <br />Honeywell approximately a year ago, soliciting funds <br />for the City parks, and that Mr. Dick Pickering was <br />present, as a representative from Honeywell, to make <br />a presentation to the City this evening. <br />Mr. Pickering stated Honeywell feels this is a very <br />innovative approach to improving the City parks, and <br />that many of their employees at the New Brighton plant <br />live in Mounds View, and Honeywell is very interested <br />in the quality of life and quality of work in Mounds <br />View. Mr. Pickering presented a check to Mayor McCarty <br />for $2,000. <br />1. Call to Order <br />2. Roll Call <br />3.
