Mounds View City Council April 23, 1984 <br />Regular Meeting Page Nine <br />-lerk /Administrator Pauley explained that because of <br />he type of work that would be done, and the amount of <br />money involved, the cities could not assist. <br />Councilmember Linke reported he will not be able to <br />attend the Ramsey County League meeting on April 25, <br />where they will be discussing hospitals. No other <br />Councilmember was available to attend, so it was <br />suggested -Clerk /Administrator Pauley contact Betty <br />Wall to see if she could attend. <br />Councilmember I-Iankner had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she would like to <br />commend the Planning Commission for the work they <br />have done on the rezonings. She added they have a <br />recommendation on overnight parking that will be <br />sent on to the Council soon. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated the Lions Easter <br />Party had been a huge success. <br />Mayor McCarty had no report. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked for Council approval 14. Report of <br />or a resolution commending Patt Fry. Administrator <br />Motion /Second: Doty/Blanchard to adopt Resolution <br />No. 1731, commending Patt Fry for three years of ser- <br />vice to the City of Mounds View, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley asked for Council authoriza- <br />tion to hire Patt Fry for a maximum of 32 hours at her <br />present salary, to train her replacement. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Blanchard to hire Patt Fry for <br />a maximum of 32 hours, at her present salary, to train <br />her replacement at the discretion of the ClerL dministrator. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he had finished <br />interviewing applicant's for the administrative secretary <br />position, and asked Council authorization to hire <br />Michele Severson. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to approve the hiring of <br />Michele Severson as administrative secretary, at a <br />tarting rate of $7.20 /hr., with an increase to $7.40/hr. <br />t the end of 90 days. <br />5 ayes <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />
